Looking for a sports volunteer opportunity in Singapore? Join the Jumpshot Volunteer Programme and be part of exciting basketball tournaments, community events and 3×3 programmes. 

Our volunteers play an important role in bringing these events to life while gaining valuable experience in sports and event operations. 

If you enjoy basketball, events, or contributing to the community, we’d love to have you on the team. 

Volunteering with Jumpshot gives you the opportunity to experience the excitement of live sports events while supporting the basketball community in Singapore.

As part of the Jumpshot Volunteers, you will:

• Experience behind-the-scenes sports event operations
• Gain hands-on exposure to sports and event management
• Work alongside the Jumpshot team at basketball tournaments and community programmes
• Meet athletes, coaches and members of the basketball community
• Contribute to the development of 3×3 basketball in Singapore

Whether you are a student, sports enthusiast, or someone looking to volunteer for community events, the programme offers a meaningful and rewarding experience.

Volunteers may be assigned different roles depending on the event. These roles allow volunteers to gain experience across various aspects of sports event operations: 

• Event Registration 
• Event Operations 
• Logistics 
• Media Support 
• Ushers 
• Additional Roles 

While volunteering is primarily about contributing to the community, we want our volunteers to enjoy the experience as well.

Depending on the event, volunteers may receive:

• Meal allowance (subject to event)
• Official Jumpshot volunteer T-shirt (subject to event)
• Letter of acknowledgement upon request
• Valuable experience supporting sports events
• The opportunity to be part of exciting basketball tournaments and community activities

The Jumpshot Volunteer Programme welcomes volunteers who are: 

• Be 13 years old and above  
• Interested in sports and basketball events 
• Keen to gain event management experience 
• Comfortable working in a team environment 
• Responsible and proactive 

 No prior volunteering or event experience is required. The Jumpshot team will provide guidance and support throughout the events. 

Do I need basketball experience to volunteer?

No. Anyone interested in sports events and community volunteering can apply. 

Who can volunteer?  

Everyone above 13 years old is welcomed.  Volunteers between 13 and 17 years old must obtain parental/guardian approval. 

How often do volunteers help at events?

Volunteer opportunities depend on upcoming Jumpshot events and availability. 

How do I find the volunteering opportunities? 

We will publish our volunteering opportunities on jumpshot.sg/volunteer and on Jumpshot Singapore Instagram page.

Will volunteers receive any acknowledgement? 

Yes, volunteers may request a letter of acknowledgement after participating in events. The letter will only be issued upon request.
